SUSTAINABILITY

SUSTAINABLE STEEL.

Pioneering green alloy steel manufacturing through clean energy, circular recycling, and environmental excellence.

POWERING STEEL.
WITH LESS CARBON.

Our transition toward cleaner manufacturing begins with the energy behind every operation.

At Banaskantha, Gujarat, our 8 MW captive solar plant generates approximately
9 million units of clean electricity every year—meeting nearly half of our
annual energy requirement through renewable power.

THE ENERGY SHIFT

HALF OUR ENERGY.
FROM THE SUN.

Our manufacturing operations require approximately 18 million units of electricity annually.

Our captive solar plant is designed to generate approximately 9 million units of clean electricity each year—bringing renewable energy to nearly 50% of our total requirement.

THE PROJECT

ONE FIELD.
MILLIONS OF UNITS.

Located in Banaskantha, Gujarat, the 8 MW captive solar plant is a direct investment in cleaner energy for our manufacturing operations.

Commissioned during December 2025–January 2026, the project represents an investment of approximately ₹26–28 crore.

OUR APPROACH

SUSTAINABILITY IS
NOT A SIDE PROJECT.

Our renewable energy investment forms part of a broader approach to responsible steel manufacturing—bringing energy efficiency, renewable power and environmental responsibility closer to the way we operate.
