Alloy Steel Ingots Manufacturers India

With decades of industry experience and market reputation, Subhlaxmi Steel And Alloys is poised to be one of the leading alloy steel ingots manufacturers and suppliers in India. Keeping pace with fast-evolving industrial advancements and client requirements, we manufacture premium-quality alloy steel ingots for a wide range of applications. For our production process, we use only the best quality scrap and raw materials and leverage modern technological tools to ensure the highest standards of quality.

The alloy steel ingots feature cropped ends and are free from surface cracks or defects. These are thoroughly tested using a handheld spectrometer to eliminate all errors in manufacturing. Every ingot is marked with a grade, heat number, weight and size, and supplied in Fully Grinded or Spot Grinded condition. All our products are free from lead contamination, mercury and radioactive elements.

What are Ingots?

Ingots are steel blocks that are cast into specifications required for further processing and have a cross-section in a rectangular, these are manufactured by first melting metal under high temperature and then freezing it in a cast-iron mould.

These moulds have an important role in manufacturing high-quality alloy steel ingots. And therefore, Subhlaxmi Steel And Alloys gives utmost attention to choosing the right ingot moulds.

We specialise in manufacturing alloy steel ingots which are available in a wide range of dimensions and thicknesses to meet different industrial purposes. These are built with the highest international quality standards in mind to further manufacture high-quality end products for various applications. We have advanced calibrated testing facilities where each of our steel ingots undergoes strict inspection to render the finest quality products.

Manufacturing Process for Alloy Steel Ingots?

At Subhlaxmi Steel And Alloys Pvt Ltd.., we adopt an industry-proven manufacturing process wherein the ingots are cast using the bottom pouring methods. We use high-quality moulds of different sizes where the molten liquid is cast to achieve varying sizes and dimensions. These are then processed by hot forging or hot rolling. The ingots are further heat treated stress relieving and annealing.

Stringent Quality Inspections for Alloy Steel Ingots

Being one of the leanding alloy steel ingots supplier in India, we ensure the highest quality standards that comply with international regulations. Therefore, all our ingots undergo strict quality tests with certification as per client requirements. Following are the inspections we conduct for our products:

  • Positive material identification to validate in-process chemistry for each ingot
  • End-to-end Magnetic Particle Inspection or surface inspection for each bar
  • Macrostructure testing
  • Non-metallic Inclusion rating
  • 100% dimensional verification
  • Gas analysis
  • Radioactivity test

Based on the inspection, we provide TEST CERTIFICATE as per unique client requirements.

Applications of Alloy Steel Ingots

The applications of our alloy steel ingots are multifarious and vary depending on the shapes.

  • Square cross-section ingots can be used for forging or rolling into rails, billets or other structural sections
  • Round ingots have applications in tube manufacturing of different sizes, dimensions and specifications
  • Rectangular cross-section ingots can be used to roll into a wide spectrum of flat products
  • Polygonal ingots can be used to manufacture wheels, tyres, etc.

We also manufacture pencil ingots that are built using extremely small cross-section ingot moulds to cast liquid steel. Typically, these ingots are used to roll reinforcement bars and merchant long products and weigh between 10 Kg to 200 Kg.
